I got the email this morning from Genesis with a price and trim breakdown. Pricing looks to be competitive across the board. Add in Hyundai’s warranty, and you cant beat the value. Pricing ranges from the base $47,700 all the way up to $67,650 for a loaded G80 with the turbo V6 and AWD. The clifs:

T he base G80 starts at the aforementioned $47,700 and comes with the 2.5 300 horse turbo I4. You can choose rear or awd with this engine as well.

If you want the 3.5 turbo V6, that base price jumps to $59,100. Rear or all wheel drive can be chosen with this engine as well

Trim levels on the turbo 4 are Standard, Advanced and Prestige , while the 3.5T gets just Standard and Prestige .

The G80 should win over some buyer from the Germans with its style and Value.

I just played with the configurator. It's a very strong value and has some great options stylistically. I'd personally want the metallic white with the navy interior. Really impressive.

Nice angle and color, de-emphasizes that grille.

I hope that it shed some weight in the redesign. I drove a G80 sport a couple of years ago and really liked the value, but it was a bit heavier and isolated than I liked.

But a great value proposition- and I suspect you’ll be able to get some nice discounts from the MSRP too.

This is more appealing than any of the German options to be honest. Or the Japanese ones, since those don’t exist any more (RIP GS). So already not a bad value, but in 2-3 years when it’s depreciated into the 30s or less it ’ll be super super tempting.
